Picture below: We received about 450 saplings from the Woodland Trust last year for planting in the community garden here in Levenwick. So this May lots of folk got together to help plant the mixture of blackthorn, rose and crab apple.
Pictures below: Italian Evening meal and quiz. Our tasty menu cooked by the community folk included asparagus risotto, spaghetti bolognese, focaccia bread, tiramisu, and chocolate gelato (ice cream).

Pictures below: Community help to renovate the hall. Improvements include new windows, lights, heaters, wood paneling and insulated walls. The painting was achieved by generous community spirit (and frequent breaks for hand-baked scones!) Phase two saw the wooden floor renewed.
